Dear church,

Yesterday, we sent a note of thanks to you for presence, time, and dedication during Holy Week. Today is another note of thanks – this time, it’s for the abundant sharing of resources that you have demonstrated over the past month. I am so moved by the generosity that powers this community, and I believe it’s important to share this information with you, so that you can see it, too! It just keeps being true that, together, we can do so much more!

  • As of today, we've packed household good bags for 87 families in the last month, and 189 families since we began this work in early February.

  • The $25,000 benevolence gift that we sent to SMART (South Metro Aid and Rent Trust) out of our Capital Campaign funds, along with additional donations from the congregation, have helped 20 families with rent relief, including one family that was facing court and eviction.

  • As part of Minnesota Foodshare Month, we held an annual food drive in March. The Grace community donated 206 pounds of food and $1,100.

  • Every quarter, we choose a ministry or organization for our Noisy Offering. For Q1 of 2026, we raised money for Every Meal, and we sent $953.04! This is such an amazing example of how a little can become much.

  • Our Easter offering totaled $5800! Half will go to support the ministry and mission of our congregation; the other half will be sent to ReconcilingWorks to support the tremendous work they do in equipping congregations to commit to and practice expansive welcome.

Thank you for living generously, Grace! Together, we are making an impact on so many people and organizations.

Pastor Sarah

Every Friday, we send an email to the congregation and any others who would like to learn more about the Grace community. The last four Friday emails are posted below.
