Public Faith Team

As Grace’s Public Faith Team, we will do faithful, joyful, and challenging work, for the sake of God’s love in the world. I hope you’ll consider joining us!

We are excited to merge our Racial Justice, Reconciling in Christ, Green, and Outreach Ministry Teams into the Public Faith Team. These justice- and passion-driven teams have always intersected and overlapped, and we are going to take advantage of those connections by forming a unified team. This team will continue to deepen our shared commitments to anti-racism, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, climate justice, and generosity, as we seek to live out Christ’s love in the world. We will continue to grow our internal capacity and knowledge, build relationships with our neighbors as we serve our community, and share this work and wisdom with the wider congregation.

Public Faith is simply that: our faith in public. How are we living out our faith within and beyond the walls of Grace? How can we build stronger relationships with our neighbors, and joyfully serve our wider community? We will learn together, and grow, and build meaningful connection and welcome.

This team is open to anyone in our congregation, whether or not you have already been involved with one of the historic ministry teams. It is open to all ages, and I mean all! There is no set term for involvement, and depending on what projects you want to plug into, you might join for three months or three years.
