DARTS Breathing Space
This fall, DARTS Breathing Space is growing and expanding. Beginning on September 8th, they will add Grace Lutheran Church as a new program location.
Breathing Space is designed for those with early- to mid-stage memory loss. Group respite offers caregivers a needed break by providing supervision, socializing, and activities for the care receiver.
As a program volunteer, you will be paired with a participant to enjoy activities that stimulate the brain and promote community. Join them weekly, monthly, or when it works for you! Training will be provided.
DARTS will be at Grace on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month in Koinonia Hall, 10:00a – 2:00p. Learn more at dartsconnects.org/caregiver-services.
If you are interested in volunteering, please email Linda at volunteer@darts1.org.
Are you a caregiver in need of a break? This program is free and open to all! Pre-registration is required; call DARTS at 651-455-1560.
This program is supported in part by a Dementia grant from the Minnesota Board on Aging and Trellis through the Older Americans Act.
