Rev. Jen Collins has been serving the Saint Paul Area Synod as a minister of Word and Sacraments since 2015.
She has been called into ministry journeying with people in their faith walk with God and one another, engaging with community organizing efforts throughout the Twin Cities. Within the Saint Paul Area Synod (SPAS), Pastor Jen has co-led the Advocates for Racial Equity (ARE) the last 5 years, she is also a trained facilitator of Racial Equity tools, focusing on “Transforming White Privilege” curriculum since 2017; is a Qualified Administrator of the IDI and Difficult Conversation Workshops in hopes to support and walk with churches to become positive agents of change.
Pastor Jen also identifies as a Person of Color, with Mexican Indigenous Heritage. She was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico but has lived the past 12 years in Minnesota with her husband Mike, who identifies as Black. They live on the Eastside of Saint Paul. They have two children, Faora (5) & Jaxdyn (Toddler) as well as a fuzzy dog, Wembley. Pastor Jen’s favorite self-care practice is baking but she also enjoys crafting and Disney for fun.
