Will you come to my birthday party? – Pastor Andrea
It’s time for Winter Family Camp at Wapo! Also, Pastor Andea’s birthday is on Saturday. You can expect a fun, yet relaxing weekend full of snow tubing, broomball, cozy fires, movie night, epic snack table, and of course, a birthday party!
Where will we sleep? Will I get any sleep?
That’s up to you! We sleep in a cozy, heated cabin in private rooms by family in Anderson Hall. Each room has a full sized bed as well as a number of sturdy wooden bunks, all with mattresses. You can get as much sleep as you’d like (or any kids you have will allow you), or you can stay up late playing games, chatting with other grown-ups (GASP!), or reading until your heart’s content.
Where and what will we eat?
We’ll eat together in the Wapo Dining Hall, with a hot meal served 3 times on Saturday and a Sunday brunch. There will also be a snack table in our retreat center. Bring an item to share!
This sounds like a hassle, it is worth it?
Well, plainly, yes. Anytime we pack the family up, it takes some work. But we’re confident you won’t regret it. We say that because that’s what literally everyone says when they come for the first time.
Can I talk to someone else like me who has gone before?
YES! Send us a direct message or email firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’ll have someone get in touch right away.
