A service of reflection to give voice to the particular grief that accompanies those who have experienced infertility, pregnancy loss, or the loss of a child, at any age and in any way.
We recognize that Mothers’ Day and Fathers’ Day can be especially difficult to navigate for those who have experienced the “order of life” in an order different from what they expected – those who hope to become parents in a particular way, whose hopes go unrealized; those who make difficult decisions following an unintended pregnancy; or those who live through the unthinkable act of burying their child, when they always assumed their children would be the ones to bury them.
If this describes you or someone you know and love, whether this grief is very fresh or many, many years old, we invite you to join us on Sunday, May 7, at 6:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church of Apple Valley. Childcare will be provided and a dessert reception will follow.
Come, to give voice to these experiences and emotions that, all too often, go unspoken. If this is you, please join us. If someone you know has had an experience like this, please share this with them, and consider accompanying them on Sunday.
