Annual Meeting & Shared Leadership

We gather. It matters.

Grace Annual Meeting & How To Get Ready For It

January 23  ·  10:30 AM  ·  Sanctuary & Online via Zoom

Taking care of business is taking care of community. We’re gathering for our Annual Meeting this month, and we’ve got important work to do together. Our pastors, staff, and Church Council is inviting and encouraging every Grace member to attend either in person or online through Zoom. We’ll be sharing stories from the past, looking ahead to the future, and voting on some important governance and structure updates. Here’s what to do in advance of the meeting to be well prepared:

  1. Complete the Leadership Needs Survey by Sunday, January 9 at glcav.us/survey22
  2. Review the proposed new Grace Constitution, Bylaws, & Continuing Resolutions available at glcav.us/governance
  3. Plan to attend the governance update Q& A sessions either on Sunday, January 16 at 10:30 am or Wednesday, January 19 at 6:45 pm.
  4. Watch for the 2021 Annual Report scheduled to come out by January 16 and review before the meeting. Once published, this will be available at glcav.us/ar21.
  5. Write down and/or save the information on how to access our Zoom room, available at graceofav.org/zoom.

There’s a position ready for exactly you

Grace Council & Committee Positions Need Your “I’m in!”

We have several open spots to fill for 2022 on the Grace Council, Property, Stewardship, Endowment Fund, Nominating, and new Finance Committees (Accounting or finance background is needed for the Finance Committee). We are also seeking a person serve as Treasurer on the Council that has a finance background.

These positions reflect the new structure we’re voting on at this year’s annual meeting on January 23. We’re preparing for a new way forward in our leadership structure at Grace, and your skills and experience may be just the right piece of the puzzle.
