Even though our church isn’t able to gather in person, we’re connected. In our commitment to one another. In the big love of Jesus.
Nowhere is Jesus’ love shown more clearly than the last week of his life. During Holy Week, we discover that this love isn’t sentimental – it’s self-giving. It overturns the usual ways of the world and illuminates God’s dream for us. This love even overcomes death.
This Holy Week at home, you can bring a message of peace and pray for your neighbors on Palm Sunday. You can bake bread and set a fancy table on Maundy Thursday. You can bring your prayers to the cross on Good Friday. Then, on Easter Sunday, we will sing alleluia anyway.
