Julie has been on staff as Director of Youth Ministries for six years, and has been blessed beyond words to be able to work with the youth and families at Grace. Much of her work is growing in relationship with the youth and their families, teaching confirmation and youth group, mentoring, taking them to summer camp and on mission trips, helping lead Vacation Bible School, organizing the annual youth rummage sale, and supporting them in their life and faith journey. One of many parts of her job that she loves is taking the kids on mission trips and to Camp Wapogasset where she can see the youth actively serving and growing in their faith.
Julie has a BA in Religion with a minor in Child and Family Studies, and a Church Professions Certificate from Concordia College in Moorhead. She worked for three summers at Camp Wapo in college where she learned youth ministry was her passion. She married her husband Nate at Grace in 2012, and enjoys the adventure of life with such an amazing guy. Spending time outdoors and traveling, especially to Guatemala with Grace, are among some of her favorite things. She loves spending time with her nieces and nephews. In her spare time you can find her at a local Caribou, going to yoga, running, at a Gopher football game, or spending time with family and friends.
